1971

March:Western Japan Central Office is established, east of Hakata Station.

After receiving requests from Fuji Kinzoku kosaku's customers in Western Japan, the Western Japan Central Office is established east of Hakata Station, at the center of Kita Kyushu's industrial zone.

November:Head Office relocation

In order to expand Head Office operations, the Head Office is relocated to the Kita Hankyu Building in the Shibata district of Kita-ku, Osaka.

November:Former Head Office changed to Kansai Branch.

Following the relocation of the Head Office, the old headquarters is renamed the Kansai Branch as a usual sales office location.

1972

July:Nagoya Central Office is established.

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the Nagoya Central Office in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, as a base for the Tokai region.

October:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku receives approval for high-pressure gas production from the Governor of Osaka Prefecture.

1973

April:The experimental high-pressure gas manufacturing factories of Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku are certified and authorized by the Minister of International Trade and Industry (now Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry).

May:Chugoku Office is established.

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the Chugoku Office in the Inari district of Minami-ku, Hiroshima, as a base for the Chugoku and Shikoku district.

October:Hokuriku Central Office is established.

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the Hokuriku Central Office in Toyama City, as a base for the Hokuriku region.

1974

July:Yokohama Central Office is established.

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the Yokohama Central Office in the Naka-ku of Yokohama as a base for the Yokohama and Kawasaki region.

October:Keiyo Office established.

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the Keiyo Office in the Shinmachi district of Chiba City, as a base for the Chiba region.

October:Fuji Technical Trading Company is established

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the "Fuji Technical Trading Company" in Kita-ku, Osaka.

October:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku succeeds in producing the first domestic instrumentation valves for nuclear power.

1975

January:The Fine Ceramic Valves, which have excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance, are developed.

1978

March:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku is selected as a company based in Osaka Prefecture with outstanding quality control.

1979

OGAWA Shuhei becomes President

November:OGAWA Shuhei becomes President.

The late KOJIMA Toshi, Company President, becomes Chairman of the Board, and the Vice President, the late OGAWA Shuhei, becomes President.

1980

March:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku's technology, quality and manufacturing systems of its products are recognized at the world level, and its factories become certified by TÜV of West Germany, a first for our industry.

October:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the sales office in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as part of our strategy aimed at developing global markets.

October:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku receives a commendation award from the High-Pressure Gas Society of Osaka Prefecture.

1981

February:The development of electronic valves with the world's smallest CV value is launched.

March:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the sales office in Dusseldorf, West Germany.

July:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku establishes the sales office at New Jersey in U.S.A..

Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku completes Osaka Kashiwara Enterprise

June:Fuji Kinzoku Kosaku completes Osaka Kashiwara Enterprise (Current: Osaka Factory - Kashiwara).

The company's name is changed to Fujikin Inc.

September:The company's name is changed to Fujikin Inc.

1983

February:Fujikin is given the Grand Prize at the 8th Annual Invention Awards for "Phenix™".

September:Fujikin receives the 1983 Chemical Plant Show Excellent Product Award for "Phenix™" a fine ceramic valve.

1984

January:Fujikin receives the 17th Medium and Small Business Research Institute Award from the Medium and Small Business Research Institute.

July:Fuji Technical Trading Company changes name to FUJIKIN SOFT Co., Ltd.,

September:Fujikin establishes Fujikin (Deutschland) GmbH.

Vaaler Award

October:Fujikin receives the Vaaler Award for the outstanding qualities of the Fine Ceramic Valves in U.S.A..

November:Fujikin establishes the Sendai Office as a base for the Tohoku region.

November:Fujikin establishes Fujikin of America.

1985

May:Fujikin's cleanroom is installed in Osaka Kashiwara Enterprise.

1986

勲四等瑞宝章を受章

November:Awarded the Fourth Order of the Sacred Treasure

Then Chairperson KOJIMA Toshi receives the Fourth Order of the Sacred Treasure.

1988

Fujikin completes Osaka High-Tech Innovation Center.

January:Fujikin completes Osaka High-Tech Innovation Center.

January:Fujikin starts operation in FUJIKINSOFT "Osaka Technoport Create Center".

Aplil:Fujikin successfully develops MEGA-ONE™, Japanese first valves for use in semiconductor manufacturing.

September:Fujikin opens the sales office at San Jose in  Silicon Valley, U.S.A.

1989

Fujikin completes stage 1 of the construction of the Fujikin Tsukuba Research Plant.

April:Fujikin completes stage 1 of the construction of the Fujikin Tsukuba Research Plant (Current: Tsukuba Advanced Research Center).

1990

Acquisltion of a foreign company

April:Fujikin receives the 3rd Small and Medium Enterprise Excellent New Technology / New Product Award for the "attitude control satellite propellant supply device".

November:Acquisltion of a foreign company

Fujikin acquires Carten Controls Ltd. (CCI, CCL), American and Irish precision valve company.
