The nursing support pictogram is a touch panel that is installed at bedsides in hospital rooms.
The touch panel, which can be installed on a floor stand or wall, not only displays the 24 types of medical nursing support pictograms, it also provides a patient's basic information, risk level, cautions and current status at the bedside.
What is a pictogram?
Pictograms are also commonly called pictographs and are universally used in daily life as symbols to guide to places such as restrooms and emergency exits.
The medical nursing support pictograms were developed for use in medical institutions by the research society for creating signs for the bed vicinity.
Display contents
The contents are divided into 4 main areas on the touch panel.
● Medical care nursing support pictograms
Ambulation, posture, toilet activities, diet, fluids and staff sharing. A total of 24 pictograms are utilized within these 6 areas and the patient's current status can be understood.
● Risk level
3 levels of risk are displayed, red, yellow and green. These 3 colour symbols make it easy for anyone to understand.
● Cautions
Cautions that cannot be expressed with just pictograms are displayed with words.
Example use: Pre-meal medicine, upper left and right arm treatment prohibited, rehabilitation period, etc.
● Basic patient information
Patient ID, patient name, birthday (age), doctor in charge,
nurse in charge, today's nurse in charge, day of admission, day of surgery, ward, etc.
