Sturgeon Program Overview

Fujikin raises sturgeon, which are becoming increasingly rare because of overfishing and pollution.

We supply sturgeon farms with newly-hatched fish (or fry). We also supply restaurants with fish that are near maturity.

Fujikin's sturgeon products are 100% natural.

Our sturgeon are raised in one of the largest indoor aquaculture facilities in Japan. This facility is composed of an entirely closed recirculating filtration tank. We maintain consistently high water quality in this 800-ton tank through our use of Fujikin flow-control technology.

We believe in protecting the environment and practicing sustainable aquaculture. Wastes generated by the sturgeon are collected in the water tank's filter, and used as plant fertilizer on our grounds.
